Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the airport to welcome your passengers, give them the trip documentation and transfer them to the hotel in San Jose.
After arrival at the hotel, express check in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day includes: Private transportation, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 20 minutes approximately.
Note:Please note that check in time in Costa Rica is at 3:00 p.m. In case your flight arrives early, please be aware that your room may not be ready at your arrival at the hotel.

Day 2 - The magic of Tortuguero

After an early morning pick up at the hotel, enjoy an scenic morning drive through Braulio Carrillo Park. On the way to Tortuguero, you will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast.
After breakfast, continue the way to Tortuguero through banana plantations. Then, cruise through rivers and canals to the 47,000 acre Tortuguero National Park. Tortuguero is home to more than 300 species of birds. Look for toucans, parrots, kingfishers and the rare green macaw. Enjoy lunch. Afternoon at leisure at the hotel. Enjoy a two night stay at your lodge. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 3 - The colors of the Caribbean

According to the schedule of the hotel, cruise with naturalist guides along rivers lined by raffia palm, habitat of howler and white-faced monkeys, green iguanas and tropical birds. Look for white and snowy egrets and the amazing nests of the montezuma oropendola. Free time to enjoy the swimming pool and tropical flower gardens at your lodge. Listen to the joyful sounds of the jungle.

Day 4 - The Secrets of La Fortuna

Morning cruise on Tortuguero River. On the way to La Fortuna, enjoy a typical buffet lunch.
Next, through scenic countryside to the Caribbean Coast. After check in, leisure time to enjoy the area.

Day includes: Breakfast, lunch, shared ground and boat transportation to Guapiles, shuttle transportation from Guapiles to La Fortuna, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 5 - The impressive Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs

During the morning, leisure time to enjoy the area or to enjoy an optional activity.
During the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Arenal Volcano and Paradise Hot Springs.
This day the driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to experience a wonderful hike through Arenal Volcano National Park and a relaxing stop at the mineral hot springs.
This tour starts with a drive to the Western side of the volcano. Once there you will embark on a hike on the trail which traverses the rainforest and crosses over a large lava flow from 1968. It is possible to observe variety of plants, wildlife and magnificent lava rock formations. Once on the top of the lava flow you will have a beautiful view of the Arenal Lake. During the tour the experienced guide will provide you with interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano impact on the area.
After this amazing hike, you will visit the mineral Paradise Hot Springs. Paradise offers five thermally hot pools and one cold pool to refresh your body. The pools are surrounded by tropical gardens with exotic palms, flowers and Costa Rican coffee trees and don't forget about the main attraction...breathtaking Arenal Volcano!
Thermal water is rich in minerals. It has many therapeutic uses; muscle relaxation, skin cleansing and stress elimination are part of thermal water benefits.
After a while of relaxing in this amazing hot springs you will enjoy a delicious dinner in the complex. When you finished, the driver will be ready to take you back to the hotel.

Day 6 - To Monteverde

After breakfast enjoy an amazing view of Arenal Lake and Volcano by the Arenal Lake Crossing. This service is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go from La Fortuna to the Monteverde area.
At the dam of Arenal Lake, you will get aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (approx.) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake.
Once at Río Chiquito, we’ll leave the boat and make a short break. Afterwards, a microbus rides to get to the hotel in the Monteverde area.
After check in at the hotel, leisure time to enjoy the area or the facilities of the hotel.

Day 7 - The beauty of the heights

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be ready to discover the secrets of the cloud forest at the hanging bridges.
Enjoy a trek on the famed hanging bridges at Monteverde, a combination of suspension bridges and platforms built in the cloud forest tree tops. By having the opportunity to be next to these host trees you can experience, up-close, the amazing biodiversity and understand how the Cloud Forest truly is co-dependent on its environment. In addition to the pleasure of walking through the forest the hanging bridges give you a special insight into how the forest functions.
Depending on the duration of the tour, you will return to the hotel. During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area, take an additional tour or to walk at Monteverde or Santa Elena towns.

Day 8 - Welcome to the Pacific!

During the morning, your transportation will be ready to transfer you to the North Pacific Coast. Drive through the only tropical dry forest in Costa Rica. Then, to Costa Rica’s beautiful North Pacific Coast.

Day 10 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.

Transfer Duration: 1 hour approximately
