Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arrange time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the airport to welcome your passengers, give them the trip documentation and transfer them to the hotel in San Jose.
After arrival at the hotel, express check in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.
Day includes: Private transportation, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 30 minutes approximately.

Day 2 - Colors of the tropics!

On the Río Pacuare 2 Days Trip, you'll enjoy one of the most amazing rainforest experiences possible - breathtaking beauty far from civilization's rush and heart-pounding excitement. It is certain to be a highlight of your stay in Costa Rica.
The Pacuare River is one of the top five rafting rivers in the world for its scenery and rapids. This tropical river is a trip of pure magic, unsurpassed beauty, wildlife, and exhilarating rapids.
You'll depart San José early in the morning, heading towards the Caribbean and crossing the amazing Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will enjoy breakfast at the operations center, where you can change clothing or last-minute needs. Once ready you will be taken to the private putt-in, your friendly and professional guides will load your gear into dry bags, prepare the equipment and give you complete safety and paddle instruction. The first day's Class III rapids welcome you to the Pacuare gorge's charm as you raft deep into the heart of the primary rainforest. While your guides prepare you a hearty picnic lunch on the riverbank, you'll be led through the jungle to an enchanting waterfall and pool to swim.
Before you know it, you'll arrive at the river lodge where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, hiking, or soaking in our waterfall and pools. Private rooms are spacious with clean linen, and there are modern bathrooms and showers. Electricity is generated by a self-sufficient hydro-plant. At night, dinner will be served by your guides.

Important notes for your River lodge experience:
For your river lodge experience to be most comfortable, we offer these packing recommendations.
Baggage allowance:

The following is a list of equipment that should be packed separately for the adventure; this will be rafted to the Lodge inside dry bags which we will provide.
Since you are not traveling back to San José, the river lodge will gladly store the rest of your luggage in their Operation Center during your stay at the lodge.
For our tour's timeliness, we kindly ask that you have your river equipment packed separately from the rest of your luggage at the time of pick-up in your hotel. Bags over the size or weight allowance will not be transported to the lodge.

Day 3 - Treasures of La Fortuna

After a hearty breakfast and loading the rafts, you'll prepare to paddle down the Pacuare gorge past gushing waterfalls, serene pools and pounding rapids. A snack stop by the riverside lets you explore more waterfalls and natural waterslides. An adrenaline-packed afternoon running rapids like Upper and Lower Huacas, Cimarron, Dos Montañas and many more, will have you cheering ecstatically.
Hot lunch will be served at the Operations Center. Showers, changing rooms, cold and hot drinks and snacks are also available. After the tour, we will continue to Arenal Volcano Area where you will enjoy fantastic days of adventure. Once at your hotel leisure time to enjoy the area.

Day 4 - Treasures of the heights

During the morning, you will enjoy the adventure of the Canopy Tour.
One of the main attractions in Fortuna is to take a ZIP LINE Tour. You will enjoy 10 cables with 14 different platforms and 50mts high rappel where you can see the impressive Canyon of the Arenal River and the extraordinary flora and fauna of the rain forest. You will have the opportunity to see the three kinds of monkeys that live in this zone, toucans, hummingbird and sloths.
Fly high over the canopy of the rain forest and feel what adrenaline means for nature lovers.
Afterwards, you will have time at leisure to enjoy to the hot springs waters of Go Pools.
After this unforgettable adventure you will be ready to go back to your hotel.

Day includes: Breakfast, Go Adventure Park Canopy tour in regular basis, transportation in SIB (shared), English Speaking tour guide, entrance fees to the Go Pools hot springs, equipment rental, lodging and hotel taxes.

Tour duration: 2 hours approximately (This time includes the tour time and travel time to and from the actual activity areas)
Note: During the day, you will have access to the Go Pools Hot Springs. Transportation to the hotel is available until 5:00 p.m.

Day 5 Welcome to the Pacific!

During the morning, your shuttle transportation will be ready to transfer you to the North Pacific Coast. Drive through the only tropical forest in Costa Rica. Then, to Costa Rica’s beautiful Guanacaste province.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle transportation from La Fortuna to the beach, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 6 - A fantastic afternoon!

During the morning, you will have time at leisure to enjoy the beach, relax at the hotel, or experience an optional tour.
After midday, you will be ready to enjoy a fantastic afternoon on board a catamaran.
This day you will be picked up from your hotel and be taken to the dock where you will board a catamaran for your sunset cruise.
The tour starts at the Flamingo Marina area where the cruise will set the sail and navigate for about five miles giving you access to some of the most beautiful isolated beaches and diving locations of Costa Rica. You will then stop in a peaceful bay where a snorkeling guide will be pleased to show you marine wildlife or you can enjoy a double seat kayak or paddleboard. While you’re exploring the surroundings, the crew will prepare a delicious typical buffet snack. After you finished, you will set sail again and you can experience a Costa Rican sunset from a breathtaking vantage point on the Pacific Ocean. While comfortably enjoying the luxuries of the catamaran, keep your eyes open for dolphins, whales, sea turtles and manta rays that may be playing in the nearby waters.
When you get back to the dock your driver will take back to your hotel.

Day 7 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arrange time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.
Pick up time flight schedule according to the international flight schedule.
International Airport Authorities and Airlines recommend all passengers arrive at the airport 3 hours before scheduled flight departure. Note: Airport Exit Taxes not included ($29 per person).

Notes

- Prices valid for a minimum of 2 passengers
- Prices valid from May 1st to November 30th, 2022 (being December 1st, 2022 the last day of the program)
- Maximum occupancy: 3 persons
- A minimum height of 4’9 feet (150 cm) and a minimum weight of 110 pounds (50 kg) is required for the rafting activities. Minimum age is 12 years old.
- Rates are based on arrivals and departures of all passengers of the program at the same flight.
- Beverages not included with the described included meals. (Bottled water, sodas or alcohol)
- Regular basis tours are shared with other travelers with English speaking tour guide and with shared transportation service.
- Shuttle bus transportation consists in door-to-door service shared with other tourists.
- Schedule time for regular basis tours and shuttle transportation are subject to the availability of the service, location of the hotel and route.
- Special bedding requests are subject to the availability of the hotel at the moment of check in.
- In Costa Rica, triple or quadruple occupancy consists in a room with 2 beds (roll away bed confirmation depends on the hotel availability at the moment of reservation and may have an extra cost)
- Any additional services not mentioned on the program as included will have an additional cost.
- On site confirmed services are not exchangeable for other activity and if not taken the activity there is no refund.
