Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the International Airport in San José to welcome your passengers and transfer them to the Hotel.

Day includes: Private transportation from the Airport to the Hotel, lodging and hotel taxes.
Overnight: Hotel Holiday Inn Express Forum at Standard Room – www.ihg.com
Transfer duration: 30 minutes approximately.

Day 2 - Doka, Grecia and Sarchi Village

The Doka-Grecia and Sarchi tour is a relaxing yet very enjoyable tour in which you will learn about our history and traditions. Also a great opportunity to get some coffee and souvenirs to take back home. First we will go to Doka Coffee Estate, where we will have a coffee tour in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable product. After the coffee tour we will enjoy a Costa Rican lunch buffet.

Then we will continue to Grecia, a very typical and traditional town, where we will admire the metal church, a building that has a rare architecture, with high ceilings, ornate stained glass windows, and classical lines.

Next we will visit the town of Sarchi, known as the birthplace of Costa Rica’s Artisans. In Sarchi, you will be able to appreciate many of the art crafts and souvenirs that Costa Rica has to offer, as we visit a factory and souvenir shop managed by the local artists. Also you will see the world’s largest ox cart according to the Guinness Book. The cart is 2 stories high, nearly 45 feet long (14 meters) and weighs 4400 lbs. (2 tons), and took 70 days to complete. Made out of wood (cedar) and decorated with bright colors, designed based on our typical and traditional oxcarts.

After the tour we will return to San Jose to relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Day 3 - From San José to Arenal

After breakfast you will be transferred from San José to Arenal. After check in, enjoy the facilities of the hotel or explore La Fortuna town area.

Day includes: Breakfast, transportation from San José to Arenal, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 3 hours approximately from San José to Arenal.

Day 4 - The Magic of the Heights

After the breakfast at the hotel you will enjoy one of the most popular tours in the area: The Canopy Tour!
This canopy is at the foot of the mountain range where Arenal volcano is located. The view of the volcano from within this rain and very humid forest is spectacular. The tree top canopy has twelve platforms and ten zip lines. The platforms are at an elevation of 150 feet. The shortest cable is 195 ft. and the longest is 1200 ft. It makes the adventure more exciting and high adrenaline.
During the afternoon, there will be the moment to enjoy the Paradise Hot Springs. The hot springs are a series of cascading pools that go from hot to mild. The service is very personal and the atmosphere is very nice as well.
Following the relaxing hot springs, you will enjoy a delicious meal at the complex Restaurant. After this relaxing experience, retour to the hotel.

Canopy Tour Duration: 5 hours approximately (from the time the bus pick you up and brings you back to the Hotel)

Day 5 - La Fortuna Waterfall

During the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a Guided Hike to La Fortuna Waterfall. Located into a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the view point, or walk about 300 meters in a very steep but safe pathway and get very close to it. Is allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget! At the prearranged time, your English-Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel, to take you to enjoy this activity. After your tour, you will return to the hotel in La Fortuna to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 6 - From Arenal to the Pacific Coast

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your driver will be waiting for you in order to transfer you to Tamarindo Beach.
Tamarindo has all the amenities of a Costa Rican beach town: surf, sand and sun. But it offers much more… too many more. It is the ideal place for honeymoons and families, and eco-adventures activities.

Day includes: Breakfast, transportation from Arenal to the Pacific Coast, lodging and hotel taxes.
Total transfer time from Arenal to Tamarindo: 5 hours approximately.

Day 7 - Enjoying the Pacific Coast

The beach has been made to enjoy. Relax at the beach or enjoy an optional tour in the area. This amazing region of Costa Rica owns some of the most beautiful beaches of the country, and the nice and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel will inspire you while you refresh yourself with natural sun baths at the beach.

Day 8 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.
