Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arrange time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the airport to welcome your passengers, give them the trip documentation and transfer them to the hotel in San Jose.
After arrival at the hotel, express check in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day includes: Private transportation, lodging and hotel taxes.
Overnight: Hotel Park Inn San Jose at Standard Room – www.radisson.com
Transfer duration: 20 minutes approximately.
Note: Please note that check in time in Costa Rica is at 3:00 p.m. In case your flight arrives early, please be aware that your room may not be ready at your arrival at the hotel.

Day 2 - Doka, Poas & Waterfall Gardens

We will start the day early in the morning.
As we ascend the mountain, we will notice a change in temperature and vegetation; we will see coffee plantations as well as fern, flower and strawberry farms along the way, creating a beautiful array of colors and visuals.
We will visit the Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast. Then we will be treated to a coffee tour in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable product.
After the coffee tour, we will continue to Poas Volcano National Park, where there is a noticeable change in temperature and exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest.
The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April, 2017.
At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles.
After Poás, we will continue to La Paz Waterfall Garden, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch (rated 4 Forks by the Costa Rican Tourism Council) that includes multiple selections of Traditional Costa Rican dishes and much more.
At La Paz Waterfall Gardens we will go through walking trails surrounded by lush tropical rain forest. Here we will appreciate flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, and hummingbirds. There are also, educational animal exhibits to enjoy such as the Aviary, the Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cats Exhibit, and the Frog Exhibit. This is definitely a tour enjoyed by nature lovers from all ages.

After the tour we will return to San Jose to relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Day 3 - From San José to Arenal

After breakfast you will be transferred from San José to Arenal. Arriving at the hotel, you can enjoy the facilities of the hotel or just discover the surrounding areas.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle transportation from San Jose to Arenal, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 4 - The Magic of the Heights

After the breakfast at the hotel you will enjoy one of the most popular tours in the area: The Canopy Tour!
This canopy is at the foot of the mountain range where Arenal volcano is located. The view of the volcano from within this rain and very humid forest is spectacular. The tree top canopy has twelve platforms and ten zip lines. The platforms are at an elevation of 150 feet. The shortest cable is 195 ft. and the longest is 1200 ft. It makes the adventure more exciting and high adrenaline.
During the afternoon, there will be the moment to enjoy the Paradise Hot Springs. The hot springs are a series of cascading pools that go from hot to mild. The service is very personal and the atmosphere is very nice as well.
Following the relaxing hot springs, you will enjoy a delicious meal at the complex Restaurant. After this relaxing experience, retour to the hotel.

Day includes: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, transportation in SIB, English Speaking tour guide during the Canopy tour, Canopy Tour adventure, Paradise Hot Spring Evening Visit, entrance fees, equipment rental, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 5 - La Fortuna Waterfall

During the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a Guided Hike to La Fortuna Waterfall.
Located into a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the view point, or walk about 300 meters in a very steep but safe pathway and get very close to it. Is allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget!
At the prearranged time, your English-Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel, to take you to enjoy this activity.
After your tour, you will return to the hotel in La Fortuna to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 6 - Welcome to the Pacific Coast

During the morning, your transportation will be ready to transfer you to the North Pacific Coast. Drive through the only tropical dry forest in Costa Rica. Then, to Costa Rica’s beautiful North Pacific Coast.

Day 7 - Enjoying the Pacific Coast

Day 8 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arrange time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.
