Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arrange time, personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel will be at the airport to welcome you, provide you with your trip documentation and transfer you to the hotel in San Jose.
After arrival at the hotel, express check in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day includes: Private transportation, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 20 minutes approximately.

Day 2 - Arenal Volcano National Park

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, it is time to continue your journey to the norther plains of Costa Rica. Your shuttle bus transportation will meet you at the lobby of the hotel and will transfer you to the Arenal Volcano area.
Once in Arenal and after check-in, leisure time to enjoy the area.
Around 2:00 p.m. your English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel in order to take you to enjoy a hike to the Arenal Volcano.
After the tour, your shuttle transportation will take you back to the hotel to relax and enjoy the services or facilities of the hotel.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle transportation from San Jose to La Fortuna, Volcano hike excursion, entrance fees, English Speaking tour guide, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 3 - CHOOSE YOUR FREE TOUR

Choose one among these three excursions for FREE. Activities are in regular basis, meaning they are shared with a small group of travelers. Excursions include entrance fees, equipment, shuttle transportation to and from the hotel and English bilingual certified guide.
After breakfast, your shuttle bus transportation will meet you at the lobby of the hotel and will transfer you to do any of the selected activities:

Option 1: Guided Hike to La Fortuna Waterfall
Located into a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the viewpoint, or walk about 300 meters in a very steep but safe pathway and get very close to it. Swimming in the river is allowed, but not near the waterfall.

Note: The walk is only recommended for people in regular shape.
Recommended: Comfortable clothing, hiking boots or tennis shoes, binoculars, camera, sunscreen lotion, insect repellent and rain gear (during rainy season).

Option 2: Canopy Tour
Your tour will begin with a warm welcome and a brief safety speech, after which your equipment will be put on and carefully checked by our bilingual certified guides. This certification provides you extra assurance that you will always be completely safe since the guides are fully trained in first aid, vertical rescue, and have ample knowledge of the Flora and Fauna of this beautiful country.

Enjoy this thrilling aerial adventure of approximately 3 km, starting from a tower 13 meters high and glide your way down 8 cables made with the best galvanized stainless steel, ranging from 80 meters to 750 meters in length, with an average height of 38 meters.
Speeds will top 60km per hour! Each of our 14 platforms, 5 of which are constructed in extraordinary trees, were strategically designed at varying heights to allow our clients to observe the rainforest from different angles and photograph the awe-inspiring scenery.

Recommended: Light clothes, tennis shoes and long pants.

Option 3: Sloths & Birds
You could say that the sloths are one of our emblematic animals of the fauna of Costa Rica. These small and gracious friends are particularly beautiful, owners of a tenderness with an eternal smile that makes it seem that it is always happy.

You will join us on a short hike through the secondary forest to try to find them. Generally, on this special pathway, designed for all the family, it is very common that we can find these little green mammals. Even if they try to blend in with the flora, our expert guides know their secrets, so they do not hide for a long time. In addition, we can enjoy many fabulous plants that will teach us curious facts. Due to its location and type of flora, this trail is very diverse in birds to complement a morning or afternoon full of wildlife. Recommended only for sloths and bird lovers!

Days 4 - Welcome to the Pacific!

During the morning and after breakfast, your transportation will be ready to transfer you to the North Pacific Coast. After arrival at the hotel, check-in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Days 5 - Enjoy the Pacific!

This day relax on the tropical beaches of Tamarindo or Langosta. Enjoy a drink by the infinity pool of the hotel or explore Tamarindo town and its surroundings. Free access to Langosta Beach Club for all hotel guests. Free shuttle services to town.

Days 6 - Back to San Jose

After breakfast at the hotel, your shuttle bus transportation will be ready to take you back to San Jose.
Once at the hotel in San Jose, time to explore the city of San Jose or enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle bus transportation from Tamarindo to San Jose, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 7 - Goodbye Costa Rica

After breakfast at the hotel and according to the international flight schedule, your private transportation will ready to take you to the International Airport in San Jose to take your international flight back home.
