Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the International Airport in San Jose to welcome your passengers and transfer them to the Hotel in Arenal.
After check in time at leisure to relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Day 2 -Treasures of La Fortuna!

After the breakfast at the hotel your English-Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel in order to take you to enjoy a hiking tour to la Fortuna waterfall. During the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a Guided Hike to La Fortuna Waterfall.
Located into a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the view point, or walk about 300 meters in a very steep but safe pathway and get very close to it. Is allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget!
After your tour, you will return to the hotel in La Fortuna to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 3 -Day at Leisure

During the day, leisure time to enjoy the area, relax at the hotel, explore the local town or to experience an optional tour.

Day 4-A Fantastic Afternoon!

During the morning, you will have time at leisure to enjoy the area, relax at the hotel, or experience an optional tour.
Before sunset, enjoy a Sunset View on boat at the Arenal Lake.
Lake Arenal is the best place in the region to enjoy a sunset, but access to the best points of the coast is only possible by boat. The sunset illuminates the west flank of the volcano with warm colors, the details of the crevices and canyons are best appreciated at sunset, these are the scars that mark the mountain in each period of activity. The coasts are surrounded by lush vegetation and, high in the Blue Mountains, you can see windmills that produce energy. Unique landscapes that you want to capture in your photographs.
While you navigate in these calm waters, the boat will be right between the volcano and the sunset, in the journey of about two hours, it is common to observe herons, kingfishers, and anhingas, what´s more, with a bit of luck you will also observe mammals such as sloths monkeys or coatis.
Your guide will provide very interesting information that will allow you to understand the history of the lake and the volcano and how both came to be so visited by tourists from all over the world.
As the sun sets and the breeze from the lake caresses your face, it is time for a glass of good wine and cheese to celebrate the end of a wonderful day.

Days 5- Welcome to the Pacific!

After breakfast at the hotel, the driver of your shuttle transportation will be waiting for you to transfer you to Manuel Antonio beach, where you will have time at leisure to enjoy the sea breeze, the ocean and get and / or take any optional tour available in the area.

Day includes:Breakfast, Shuttle transportation from La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio beach, lodging and hotel taxes.

Day 6- The heart of the Pacific!

After breakfast at the hotel, an English Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel, in order to take you to Manuel Antonio National Park.
This protected area is very popular due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. An experienced guide will accompany you on this picturesque hike. Two of the main attractions here are two white sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio beach, but this protected area also houses coastal rainforests, mangrove swamps, coral formations and islands. Throughout this interesting tour, your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed; you can take photographs or just admire the view.
After the tour, you will return to the hotel. During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area.

Day includes: Breakfast, visit to Manuel Antonio National Park in regular basis, transportation in regular basis, English speaking tour guide during the tour, entrance fees, lodging and hotel taxes.

Tour Duration: 4 hours approximately (This time includes the tour time and travel time to and from the actual activity areas)
Note: The National Park is closed on Tuesdays. For the confirmation of this tour, it is requested to provide the following information: names as appear on passport, passport number, passports’ expiration date, dates of birth and nationality.

Day 7- Day at leisure

During the day, leisure time to enjoy the area or to enjoy an optional activity.

Day 8-Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel at the beach to the International Airport in San Jose to take the international flight back.

• The hotel Amor Arenal allows guests 13 years old and older.
• The Townhouse room category at the hotel Los Altos is adults-only. Please be advised that the Townhouse fall under the exclusive luxury categories and are designated as adults-only areas within the property. Nevertheless, Los Altos Resort takes pride in being a family-friendly hotel. Consequently, in communal spaces like the onsite pool, restaurant, hotel lobby, etc., children are always welcome.

• Drivers in Costa Rica are certified drivers and speak basic English. Certified tour guides during private transfers are available with an extra charge.
• Schedule time for regular basis tours and shuttle transportation are subject to the availability of the service, location of the hotel and route.
• Special bedding requests are subject to the availability of the hotel at the moment of check in.
• Check in time in Costa Rica is at 3:00 p.m. In case your transfer arrives earlier than check in time please be aware that your room may not be ready at your arrival. Luggage can be storage at front desk.
• Check out time in Costa Rica is at 11:00 a.m. In case your tour is schedule in the morning before check out of the hotel, or in case your transportation is schedule for a later time than check out, please check out of your room and leave your luggage at the front desk.

• In Costa Rica, triple or quadruple occupancy consists in a room with 2 beds (roll away bed confirmation depends on the hotel availability at the moment of reservation and may have an extra cost)
