It's the most wonderful time of the year! This itinerary will take you to the most visited locations in Costa Rica: Arenal Volcano, Monteverde Cloud Forest and Tamarindo Beach.

Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the International Airport (San José or Liberia) to welcome you and provide transportation to the Hotel in Arenal.
After check in, time at leisure to relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Day includes: Private transportation, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 3 ½ hours approximately.

Day 2 - Treasures of the tropics!

After breakfast at the hotel, and at the prearrange time, an English-Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel, in order to take you to explore the jungle on search of sloths and birds with the Sloths and Birds tour.
You could say that the sloths are one of our emblematic animals of the fauna of Costa Rica. These small and gracious friends are particularly beautiful, owners of a tenderness with an eternal smile that makes it seem that he is always happy.
We would like very much that you can join us on a short hike through the secondary forest and try to find them, generally on this special pathway -designed for all the family- it is very common that we can find these little green mammals, even if they try to blend in with the flora, our expert guides know their secrets, so they do not hide for a long time. In addition, we can enjoy many fabulous plants that will teach us curious facts. Because of its location and type of flora, this trail is very diverse in birds, to complement a morning or afternoon full of wildlife, we could appreciate many species of local birds.
Get you camera loaded and ready.
After your activity, you will return to the hotel at the beach.

Day 3 - To Monteverde

After breakfast, enjoy an amazing view of Arenal Lake and Volcano by the Arenal Lake Crossing. This service is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go from La Fortuna to the Monteverde area.
At the dam of Arenal Lake, you will get aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (approx..) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake.
Once at Río Chiquito, we’ll leave the boat and make a short break. Afterwards, a microbus ride to get to the hotel in the Monteverde area.
After check in at the hotel, leisure time to enjoy the area or the facilities of the hotel.

Day 4 - The beauty of the heights

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be ready to discover the secrets of the cloud forest at the hanging bridges.
Enjoy a trek on the famed hanging bridges at Monteverde, a combination of suspension bridges and platforms built in the cloud forest treetops. By having the opportunity to be next to these host trees you can experience, up-close, the amazing biodiversity and understand how the Cloud Forest truly is co-dependent on its environment. In addition to the pleasure of walking through the forest the hanging bridges give you a special insight into how the forest functions.
Depending on the duration of the tour, you will return to the hotel. During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area, take an additional tour or to walk at Monteverde or Santa Elena towns.

Day 5 - From Monteverde to the Pacific Coast

You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel. According to the schedule of your shuttle transfer, you will be travelling from Monteverde to the beach area.
After check in, leisure time to enjoy the area or to enjoy an optional activity.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle transportation from Monteverde to the beach, lodging and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 5 hours approximately

Day 6 to 8 - Enjoy the Pacific!

The beach has been made to enjoy. Relax at the beach or enjoy an optional tour in the area. This amazing region of Costa Rica owns some of the most beautiful beaches of the country, and the nice and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel will inspire you while you refresh yourself with natural sun baths at the beach.

Day 9 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.

Day includes: Breakfast and private transportation to the Airport
Transfer Duration: 1 hour approximately

International Airport Authorities and Airlines recommend all passengers arrive at the airport 3 hours before scheduled flight departure.
Note: Airport exit taxes may not be included in your international ticket ($29 per person).

Notes

- Prices valid for a minimum of 2 passengers.
- Prices apply for new reservations only. No re-bookings accepted.
- Maximum occupancy: 4 persons (adults or children)
- Children policy: Maximum 2 children under 9 years old sharing room with their parents

- Mandatory dinners for Christmas Eve and/or New Year’s Eve are not included.
- Once the program is confirmed, modifications are not allowed. Any modification will be handled as a new request, and the price will change.
- A guarantee deposit will be required by September 10th, 2019.

- Rates are based on arrivals and departures of all passengers of the program at the same flight.
- Beverages not included with the described included meals Sodas or alcohol.
- Regular basis tours are shared with other travelers, with English speaking tour guide and in regular basis transportation service (shared with other travelers).
- Schedule time for regular basis tours and shuttle transportation are subject to the availability of the service, location of the hotel and route.
- Special bedding requests are subject to the availability of the hotel at the moment of check in.
- Any additional services not mentioned on the program as included will have an additional cost.
- On site confirmed services are not exchangeable for other activity and if not taken the activity there is no refund.
- Guarantee deposits may be required to confirm the program.
- Costa Rica Dream Travel cannot be liable for the loss of any service contracted (partial or total loss) due the loss of international flights, due negligence, arbitrary acts of the clients not under our direct control.
