Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the International Airport (San Jose or Liberia) to welcome your passengers and transfer them to the hotel in Arenal.
After check in time at leisure to relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Transfer duration: 3 1/2 hours approximately.
Note:Please note that check in time in Costa Rica is at 3:00 p.m. In case your flight arrives early, please be aware that your room may not be ready at your arrival at the hotel.

Day 2 - Magical Rainforest

During the morning, leisure time to relax at the hotel, enjoy an optional activity or explore the local town.
During the afternoon, enjoy an encounter with the rainforest with a sloths hike and an jungle night walk.
This tour will bring you up close and personal with some of Costa Rica’s most-adorable, furry critters as they simply hang out among the treetops near the Arenal Volcano. The sloth is one of our most-endearing icons here in the rainforests of Costa Rica, besides these precious animals are one of our national symbols, and this tour has been developed for nature enthusiasts who would like to take an easy-going drive around the picturesque Arenal Volcano area as your eagle-eyed, professional, bilingual guide finds the favorite hiding places of the 2-toed and 3-toed sloth. And as a bonus, you’ll also have the chance to see monkeys, brightly-colored toucans, elusive iguanas, and poison dart frogs.
Afterwards, live the experience of the only natural frog sanctuary in La Fortuna at night, when the colorful frogs and other wild animals of the rainforest are more active and more easily observed. At least 28 species of frogs have turned their home into the Arenal Oasis ponds. The Rojas Bonilla family carefully maintains the native plants of Arenal, to create the right habitat for frogs, in this private wildlife reserve of ponds fed fresh spring water; inside a rainforest refuge that connects the tropical areas of the Arenal Volcano and the Burio River.
The night walk continues beyond the frogs' ponds along flat paths immersed in the noisy rainforest of the night. The guide will tell you where the animals are located hiding from you. Live, enjoy and learn about this unique natural sanctuary of frogs in the area of the Arenal Volcano.
After your tour, you will return to the hotel in La Fortuna to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 3 - Enjoy La Fortuna

During the day, you will have time at leisure to explore the area, relax at the facilities of the hotel, or to enjoy an optional activity.

Day 4 - To Monteverde

After breakfast and check out of the hotel, enjoy an amazing view of Arenal Lake and Volcano by the Arenal Lake Crossing. This service is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go from La Fortuna to the Monteverde area. At the prearrange time, the driver of your shared transportation will meet you at the lobby of the hotel, in order to transfer you to Arenal Lake.
At the dam of Arenal Lake, you will get aboard into a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes (aprox.) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake.
Once at Río Chiquito, we’ll leave the boat and make a short break. Afterwards, a microbus ride to get to the hotel in the Monteverde area.
After check in at the hotel, leisure time to enjoy the area or the facilities of the hotel.

Day 5 - The beauty of the heights

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be ready to discover the secrets of the cloud forest at the hanging bridges.
Enjoy a trek on the famed hanging bridges at Monteverde, a combination of suspension bridges and platforms built in the cloud forest treetops. By having the opportunity to be next to these host trees you can experience, up-close, the amazing biodiversity and understand how the Cloud Forest truly co-dependent on its environment is. In addition to the pleasure of walking through the forest the hanging bridges give you a special insight into how the forest functions.
After your tour, you will return to the hotel. During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area, take an additional tour or to walk at Monteverde or Santa Elena towns.

Day 6 - Enjoy Monteverde

Day 7 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport (San Jose or Liberia) to take the international flight back.

Transfer duration: 3 1/2 hours approximately

International Airport Authorities and Airlines recommend all passengers arrive at the airport 3 hours before scheduled flight departure.
