December 27th OR December 29th, 2024- Choose Your Tour

During the morning, enjoy the activity of your choice. You can choose between a guided hike searching for sloths, the adventure of the canopy tour (ziplining) or a guided hike to La Fortuna Waterfall.

Option #1: Sloths hike
Today the driver will be waiting for you at your hotel to enjoy an amazing tour that will bring you up close with some of Costa Rica’s most adorable, furry critters as they simply hang out among the treetops near the Arenal Volcano.
The sloth is one of our most-endearing icons in the rainforests of Costa Rica and this tour has been developed for nature enthusiasts who would like to take an easy going tour around the picturesque Arenal Volcano area as your eagle-eyed and professional bilingual guide finds the favorite hiding places of the 2-toed, and 3- toed sloth.
The certified naturalist guides are experts at locating wildlife and extremely knowledgeable in their field. The Arenal area is well known for its very diverse wildlife, including the two different sloth species living in Costa Rica. During this tour our main goal is to find as many sloths as possible and you have 100% guaranteed to see sloths in the wild.
On the search for these beautiful animals our knowledgeable guide will drive you around la Fortuna's beautiful spotting areas for more wildlife. Toucans, Red Blue Jeans, Poison Dart Frogs, hummingbirds, iguanas and monkeys are among the animals that we might encounter.
At the end of the search and after thanking you for joining us on this great adventure we will proceed to drop you of in your hotel

Option #2:Go Adventure Canopy tour
One of the main attractions in Fortuna is to take a ZIP LINE Tour. You will enjoy 10 cables with 14 different platforms and 50mts high rappel where you can see the impressive Canyon of the Arenal River and the extraordinary flora and fauna of the rain forest. You will have the opportunity to see the three kinds of monkeys that live in this zone, toucans, hummingbird and sloths.
Fly high over the canopy of the rain forest and feel what adrenaline means for nature lovers.
Afterwards, you will have time at leisure to enjoy to the hot springs waters of Go Pools.
Recommended: Comfortable clothing, closed tied shoes, sunscreen lotion, insect repellent and rain gear (during rainy season).
Tour includes: Transportation, tour guide, entrance fees to the Go Pools Hot Springs and equipment rental.
Tour duration: 2 hours approximately (This time includes the tour time and travel time to and from the actual activity area)
Note: During the day, you will have access to the Go Pools Hot Springs. Transportation to the hotel is available until 5:00 p.m.

Option #3: Visit to La Fortuna Waterfall
Located into a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the view point, or walk about 300 meters in a very steep but safe pathway of approximately 500 steps per way, and get very close to it. Is allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget!

Recommended: Comfortable clothing, closed tied shoes, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen lotion, insect repellent and rain gear (during rainy season).
Tour includes: Transportation, tour guide and entrance fees.
Tour duration: 3 hours approximately (This time includes the tour time and travel time to and from the actual activity area)

After you had enjoyed your choice of activity, you will return to the hotel and will have time at leisure.

December 29th OR December 31st, 2024- Welcome to the Pacific!

After breakfast at the hotel, the driver of your shuttle transportation will be waiting for you to transfer you to Great beach of Tamarindo where you will have time at leisure to enjoy the sea breeze, the ocean and get and / or take any optional tour available in the area.

Day includes: Breakfast, Shuttle transportation from La Fortuna to Tamarindo beach, lodging and hotel taxes. .

January 2nd OR January 4th, 2024-Goodbye Costa Rica!

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel at the beach to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.
