Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel will be at the Liberia airport to welcome you, provide you with your trip documentation and transfer you to the hotel in Rincon de la Vieja.
After arrival at the hotel, express check-in and leisure time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 2 - Adventures at the tropics

After breakfast, enjoy a day full of adventures and unforgettable experiences at Hacienda Guachipelin.
Get an incredible adrenaline rush on their exclusive Canyon Canopy Tour – one of the best adventure tours in Guanacaste, Costa Rica!
On our one-of-a-kind Costa Rica zip line tour, you will fly through the trees on zip lines, rappel, rock climb, swing like Tarzan, and cross hanging bridges over a narrow river canyon. Your playground is the spectacular White River Canyon, formed by water erosion over millions of years.
It is just a short walk from Hacienda Guachipelin’s Adventure Center to the first zip line platform, where your excitement begins. You will have exhilarating fun on 7 zip line cables, 1 hanging bridge, 2 Tarzan swings, a controlled 20-meter (65-foot) rappel, natural rock-climbing wall, and via ferrata traverses and climbs. The Canopy tour generally takes between 90 minutes and two hours to complete.
Part of your adventure day includes riding the trusty Costa Rican ranch horses from Hacienda Guachipelin along scenic trails through the forest to get to the river. Enjoy riding our sturdy Costa Rican ranch horses on a very scenic trail through ranch pastureland and forest to Rio Negro, on the way to enjoy the tubbing adventure. You will leave the horses at one point, where a bus will pick you up and take you to the tubbing starting point. All of our horseback rides follow mostly forest trails, with very little time on transited ranch roads. Tours are guided by one of our experienced ranch cowboys. All tour participants must wear riding helmets. We recommend using closed-toe shoes and long pants or long shorts.
Then, you’ll have the time of your life riding the watery rollercoaster of the Black River (Rio Negro) in individual inner tube rafts on our Rio Negro Tubing Adventure.
Enjoy non-stop fun and excitement bouncing and splashing down 5 km (3 miles) of class 2 and 3 rapids in this narrow, rushing river of crystal-clear water. There are plenty of quiet pools along the way to appreciate the beautiful tropical scenery. Our special river tube rafts are designed with handles and protective bottoms. Guides go with you and ensure your safety.
At the river, there are bathrooms and changing rooms. We recommend wearing a swimsuit, quick-dry shorts, and shirt, and either river shoes, sneakers, or strap-on sandals that are secure. When you finish the river tubing, you will have the opportunity to dry off and change.
And to relax at the end of the day, enjoy a visit to Rio Negro Hot Springs. Mineral-rich hot springs have rejuvenating and therapeutic properties treasured for centuries by people all over the world. When you visit Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin and Rincon de la Vieja, you must experience the incredible hot springs at Rio Negro.
Beautiful and relaxing, the volcanic hot springs at Hacienda Guachipelin bubble up in the Rio Negro (“Black River”), heated naturally by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano – the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Surrounded by thick forest, the crystal-clear river flows through 10 man-made pools we have created to capture the steaming mineral-rich water. You access pools (of varying temperatures) on both sides of the river by two hanging bridges. Heated volcanic clay is available to smooth all over like a “spa body masque.” After it dries, wash it off with a cool shower or jump in the river before soaking again in the hot pools. The complete relaxation is pure bliss.
There are changing rooms, bathrooms, and lockers at the hot springs entrance. From there, you will walk an easy trail less than a quarter-mile (350 meters) through the forest to the hot spring’s pools.
When you are ready, we will leisurely ride back to Hacienda Guachipelin (1 hour).
Order of the activities may vary according to the operation of the day, and lunch will be offered during your adventure pass. After this fantastic experience, you will return to the hotel.
During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area.

Day includes: Breakfast, lunch, Canyon Canopy Tour, Rio Negro Tubbing Adventure, Horseback Riding, Rio Negro Hot Springs, and volcanic mud bath, transportation in regular basis during the tour, English Speaking tour guides, equipment rental, lodging, and hotel taxes.
Note: Activities are on a regular basis, meaning they are shared with a small group of travelers.

Day 3 - Welcome to the Pacific!

During the morning, your transportation will be ready to transfer you to Conchal beach.
Drive through the beauty of the tropics, until you reach the amazing Conchal beach.
After check-in at the hotel, leisure time to enjoy the area.

Day includes: Breakfast, shuttle transportation, lodging in all-inclusive system and hotel taxes.

Transfer duration: 2 ½ hours approximately

Days 4 & 5 - Enjoy the Pacific!

During these days, enjoy a carefree leisurely time. Beach comb at the pool area or swim the beaches of Guanacaste.

Day includes: Lodging in all-inclusive system and hotel taxes.

Day 6 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport in Liberia to take the international flight back.

Day includes: Breakfast and private transportation.
Transfer Duration: 1 hour approximately

Pick up time flight schedule according to the international flight schedule.

International Airport Authorities and Airlines recommend all passengers arrive at the airport 3 hours before scheduled flight departure.
