Day 1 - Arrival to Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time personnel from Costa Rica Dream Travel Corporation will be at the International Airport (San Jose) to welcome your passengers and transfer them to the Hotel in Arenal.
After check-in time and at leisure relax and enjoy the services of the hotel.

Day 2 - Treasures of La Fortuna!

After breakfast at the hotel, your English-Speaking tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel in order to take you to enjoy a hiking tour to la Fortuna waterfall. During the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a Guided Hike to La Fortuna Waterfall.
Located in a spectacular rainforest and over 70 meters high, the Fortuna River Waterfall is an attraction hard to miss on your visit through La Fortuna. Born from the river that carries the same name, this cascade shares its boundaries with the Arenal-Monteverde protected area, housing a wealth of wildlife and becoming very important for the conservation of tributaries that feed drinking water to surrounding towns. Our guide will accompany you and point out the most important details of this rich area, where we have the option of watching the beautiful waterfall from the viewpoint or walking about 300 meters on a very steep but safe pathway and getting very close to it. Is allowed to swim in the river, but not near the waterfall. It will be difficult to forget!
After your tour, you will return to the hotel in La Fortuna to relax and enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

Day 3 - Day at leisure

During the day, time at leisure to enjoy the area or to enjoy an optional activity.

Day 4 - Welcome to Monteverde Cloud Forest

After breakfast enjoy an amazing view of Arenal Lake and Volcano by the Arenal Lake Crossing. This service is scenic, fast, and the newest way to go from La Fortuna to the Monteverde area.
At the dam of Arenal Lake, you will get aboard a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40-minute (approx.) ride to Río Chiquito, a little town on the other side of the lake.
Once at Río Chiquito, we’ll leave the boat and make a short break. Afterward, a microbus ride to get to the hotel in the Monteverde area.After check-in at the hotel, leisure time to enjoy the area or the facilities of the hotel.

Day 5 - The beauty of the cloud forest

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be ready to discover the secrets of the cloud forest at the hanging bridges.
Enjoy a trek on the famed hanging bridges at Monteverde, a combination of suspension bridges and platforms built in the cloud forest tree tops. By having the opportunity to be next to these host trees you can experience, up close, the amazing biodiversity and understand how the Cloud Forest truly is co-dependent on its environment. In addition to the pleasure of walking through the forest, the hanging bridges give you a special insight into how the forest functions.
After the hanging bridges, you will return to the hotel. During the rest of the day, leisure time to enjoy the area, take an additional tour or walk at Monteverde or Santa Elena towns.

Day includes: Breakfast, a visit to the Hanging Bridges on a regular basis, transportation in SIB (shared), English Speaking tour guide, entrance fees, lodging, and hotel taxes.

Day 6 - Day at leisure

During the day, time at leisure to enjoy the area or to enjoy an optional activity.

Day 7 - Goodbye Costa Rica

At the pre-arranged time, and according to the international flight schedule, you will be transferred from the hotel to the International Airport to take the international flight back.

Day includes: Breakfast and private transportation.

- Arrival/Departure airport is San Jose International Airport. In case of arriving/departing from Liberia International Airport, there is an extra charge of $62.- USD (VAT included) per person 11 years old or older.
- Rates are based on the arrivals and departures of all passengers of the program on the same flight.

- Regular basis tours are shared with other travelers with English-speaking tour guides and with shared transportation service.-
Shuttle bus transportation consists of door-to-door service shared with other tourists.
- Schedule time for regular basis tours and shuttle transportation are subject to the availability of the service, location of the hotel, and route.
- Special bedding requests are subject to the availability of the hotel at the moment of check-in.
- In Costa Rica, triple or quadruple occupancy consists of a room with 2 beds (roll-away bed confirmation depends on the hotel availability at the moment of reservation and may have an extra cost)
